A VIOLINIST, MUSIC ARRANGER & A MUSIC COMPOSER Deepak is the son of Shambhu Ji (LATE SHRI SHANKAR SHAMBHU QAWWAL). He started learning music & violin at a very young age of six. He had started performing on stage by the age of eleven. By fifteen he was already famous as a violinist, he started performing with all the famous singers & all the instrumental mestro's on stage... Deepak then started music arrangement. As a music arranger he has done several music albums & films: ALBUMS: AS A MUSIC ARRANGER: "Samvedna"- Jagjit Singh, lyrics by Atal Bihari Vajpai Ji. Hello friends........I hv dubbed for many films including Slumdog Millionare..Pathshala..(voice dubbing).. i am a singer too.. i hv sang with Sonu Nigam-"YEH RASTRA PREM KI BHAVNA", a song dedicated to all indian hero's who died in mumbai train blast..for "NDTV".
I have sang with Jagjit Singh ji for "HDIL-REAL ESTATE" JINGLE....
With Shreya Ghoshal & Shaan for a promotional song for 'Kaisari tours & travels"- mumbai.

Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand is the son & disciple of the famous dance exponent Nritya Acharya Pandit Narayan Prasad Ji of Jaipur Gharana. Took to "Ghunghroos", as other infants take rattles. He gained a Masters Degree in Music (KATHAK) from the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh for which he won the coveted Gold Medal. He has, to his credit in the field of Kathak, won many Awards & Accolades which include the "Shringar Mani" by Sur Sansad of Bombay. "Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy" Award & was also honoured in the Jaipur Samaroh in 1992 by the Chief Minister, Shri Bhairav Singh Shekhawat. He has also won the prestigious "Pracheen Kala Kendra" Chandigarh's Award for 2006. Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand has taught kathak dance from 1980-1985 at Indian Cultural Centre , Georgetown, South America & from 1987-1993 at Indra Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Mauritius through I.C.C.R.
Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand has performed all over India & participated in many prestigious programmes organized to mark major events like "ASIA'72" & 250TH Anniversary of the "Founding of Jaipur". In addition to being a kathak mestro & teacher, he is an accomplished composer of songs & music & has composed the original musical scores for the many international dance productions created by him, such as "Ghunghru", "Trinetra"( dance drama), "Aamrapali" (dance drama). & "Dhola Maru". He has successfully performed overseas in London, Paris, Guyana, Surinam, Barbados, Mauritius & Singapore. His rich & varied teaching experience has him frequently being invited as an examiner for Graduate & Post-graduate students in the leading universities of India. Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand's repertoire & style, which reflects his immense experience & knowledge in the field of dance, clearly brings out the prolific & enchanting charm of kathak specialized by the Jaipur Gharana. He has carved a special richie for himself in the world of kathak.
ABOUT MY BROTHER : RAJESH CHAND
RAJESH CHAND- BOLLYWOOD, WESTERN & FOLK DANCE CHOREOGHRPHER.
Rajesh Chand, the son of well known Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand is a multitalented artiste. He ia an illustrious Kathak Dancer & the 9th generation of Jaipur Kathak Gharana. He has completed Nritya Visharad Degree in Kathak Dance.
Rajesh also dwells in mordern dance. He has branched out into "Bollywood Style" dancing but essentially retains his classical training. He did the choreography for the" Asha Bhosle Nite" in Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2005, & choreographed & performed for "Sensational SHAAN" in Singapore at Kallang Thretre 2006. Recently performed in Mumbai for IMMIES MTV Awards & has done lots of bollywood dance shows in Singapore, Dubai & in India...
Rajesh has also acted in a serial called "STONE BOY". He was in a Lead Negetive Role in the serial. His character was known as "BHOLU". It was a great musical serial bye the maker of Malgudi days Mr. T.S.Narsihman(Producer). This 10 episode serial was shot in Mauritius.
